Taylor's Tiles Mahjong Tiles + Tile Pouch

I absolutely love the concept and as a swiftie I had been eagerly waiting to get my hands on these tiles. Unfortunately the quality is not what I was expecting for the price point. Some tiles are super sparkly while others aren’t which makes some identifiable when face down. The paint didn’t quite transfer to some tiles completely making me feel like I need to treat them with absolute care to ensure their longevity. Instead of every day tiles I fear these will need to be special occasion tiles to prolong their lifespan.

I really love the look of these tiles—they’re absolutely beautiful and feel very unique. However, they are not the same size as standard mahjong tiles. They’re noticeably thinner but also wider, which creates a practical issue during play. Because of the extra width, they don’t fit 19 across on a standard rack, and when you push your tiles forward, they tend to fall off the edge.
While they’re aesthetically great, the sizing makes them a bit difficult to use with typical setups.
